About Us

Founded in 2022, The Marina del Rey Tourism Board is a non-profit corporation formed through the joint efforts of the seven Marina del Rey hotels located within the unincorporated area of Los Angeles County. MDR Tourism Board is governed by a Board of Directors composed of business leaders from the tourism and hospitality sectors. MDR Tourism Board is funded by a 3% hotel self-assessment collected from Marina del Rey’s seven hotels and distributed to the Marina del Rey Tourism Board. Funding from Marina del Rey’s seven hotels represents 100% of the MDR Tourism Board budget.
